Exchange

Microsoft Exchange is the official university integrated email and calendaring system for all faculty and staff. Exchange offers email calendar invites, scheduling views for multiple calendars, shared calendars, Lync messaging and file transfer, and a minimum 1 GB quota. New faculty and staff automatically receive Exchange mailboxes when they activate their UARK accounts.

See the setup instructions below to configure an email application, such as Outlook for Windows or Mac, or contact your Tech Partner for help. For other Exchange support, call the IT Services Help Desk at 575-2905 or use AskIT to request support online.

Non-faculty and staff eligible for Exchange include:

Set up Exchange

IT Services supports Outlook for Windows and Mac, OS X Mail, as well as iPhone, iPad, and Android email apps for Exchange. When using Exchange on campus, Outlook will autodiscover required email settings. Off campus, you may be required to configure manually.
