Matrix42 Lunch and Learn, September 24

IT Services will host a demonstration and discussion with software vendor Matrix42, from noon to 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 24, in Arkansas Union room 512. Lunch will be provided by Matrix42. Those interested should RSVP to Chris Crotser at ccrotser@uark.edu by Friday, September 14.

Matrix42 is an imaging, asset management, and compliance suite that applies a master operating system template to any workstation. Drivers are automatically included via the Matrix42 cloud, and configuration groups can be synced from LDAP or created from security groups in Active Directory. A License Intelligence Service is updated daily, performing automatic license checking, identifying software, reporting on usage, and providing cost reduction information. Policies based on ownership can be established using the Mobile Management feature.
