IT Services maintains a variety of technology equipment available for checkout free of charge to students, faculty, and staff from the Arkansas Union, Mullins Library, and J.B. Hunt General Access Computing Labs (GACLs), and the Student Technology Center.

Equipment cannot be reserved and is checked out on a first come, first served basis with a University ID. There is a $10 per hour late fee if equipment is returned late.

Student Technology Center

The STC in the Arkansas Union offers the following multimedia equipment for checkout:

• 8 Canon Powershot digital cameras
• 4 SD camcorders
• 3 HD camcorders
• 15 Flip Cam digital HD camcorders
• 2 Canon Dual Flash Memory HD camcorders
• 3 Dell projectors
• 2 tabletop projection screens
• 5 tripods
• 5 Silk Sprint Pro tripods with carrying cases
• 2 Pearstone tripods
• 5 Casio projectors
• 15 audio recorders
• 2 Zoom H3 Ultra-Portable digital audio recorders
• 3 wired microphones
• 4 Pearstone OLM-10 microphones
• 10 wireless microphones
• 6 MacBook Pro laptops
• 1 DTE recorder
• 3 web cams

Arkansas Union GACL

The Arkansas Union GACL offers the following laptops for 5 hour, 24 hour, or 72 hour checkout:

• Dell Latitude 610
• Dell Latitude 620
• Dell Latitude e550
• Dell Latitude e530

A PC mobile cart housing up to 25 wireless laptops with power supplies can be checked out with one-week advance notice. The laptops run Windows 7 and have Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer installed. Additional software can be installed on request with legal copies of the software provided by the requestor.

If you have an emergency and cannot return a laptop on time, call the Arkansas Union GACL at 575-8611 to discuss an accommodation.

Mullins Library GACL

The GACL in Mullins Library provides the following laptops for 5 hour checkout, as well as two 16 GB Wi-Fi iPads. Checkouts are available from the circulation desk, and availability of iPads is posted online at libinfo.uark.edu/circulation.

• 60 Dell Latitude E550s and E620s
• 5 MacBook Pros

If you have an emergency and cannot return a laptop or iPad on time, call the Mullins Library GACL at 575-4104 to discuss an accommodation.

J.B. Hunt GACL

The GACL in the J.B. Hunt Building offers the following laptops for 5 hour checkout:

• 6 Dell Latitude E550s
• 4 MacBook Pros
