IT Services supports the Echo360 EchoSystem for lecture capture. Using Echo360, class sessions can be recorded, giving students access to class material on-demand.Echo360 recordings can be published via email, Blackboard, or RSS feeds. The recordings are delivered through "Rich Media" webpages (HTML & Flash), podcasts (mp3), or vodcasts (mp4).
In the classroom, Echo360 can be deployed through capture software or hardware appliances. The capture software allows for the recording of the computer display and audio, while hardware appliances can record any VGA input, video camera, or external audio inputs. The Echo360 Personal Capture (PCAP) software can be used on any Windows or Macintosh computer to record the computer's display, video camera, and audio input.
