Welcome to the Student Technology Center Gaming Lounge! Need a break between classes? Have a seat at one of our Alienware workstations or reserve a console station and kick back on one of our comfy couches.

We have TVs, Alienware PCs, and console stations with PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Wii.

Dozens of games are available to use at our console stations, including:

  • Halo & Call of Duty
  • Spiderman
  • FIFA
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Mario Kart & Super Smash Bros

Console Gaming

To get started at one of our console stations, show your University ID at the front desk and ask the staff for help setting up. Console stations can be reserved for up to 5 hours. 

  • Blue Station: Xbox One and PS4
  • Green Station: Xbox One and PS4
  • Orange Station: Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, Wii
  • Pink Station: Nintendo Switch, PS3, Wii
  • Purple Station: Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch
  • Yellow Station: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii

PC Gaming

Alienware workstations are open to walk-ins. You can download games using your own Steam account and log into the Discord app already installed on the workstation. Bring your own keyboard, headphones, and mouse, or use the ones provided. Pre-installed games include:

  • Minecraft
  • Fortnite
  • League of Legends
  • Apex Legends

Mini Game Checkout

Checkout Time Limit: 3 days
Check out the Mini Game Entertainment System for up to three days to play classic, retro games.
Heads up! Equipment checkout services are temporarily unavailable while inventory is transferred to another reservation system. The STC will still offer in-person checkouts on limited availability.

Rules

  • Be respectful. 
  • Do not move furniture or enter off-limits areas.
  • Food and drink are allowed, but messes must be cleaned.
  • Keep noise at a reasonable level. Excessive noise and other violations can result in disciplinary action per the Student Technology Center policy.
