Identity and Access Management

Your UARK account allows you to securely access university services, including email, campus Wi-Fi, Blackboard, and more.

Get Started

New to the university? Activate your UARK account by verifying your University ID number and date of birth.

You are required to reset your password every 120 days using Password Manager.

If you are unable to access your account even after updating your password, contact the IT Help Desk

More Information

UARK Username

Your UARK username appears before @uark.edu or @email.uark.edu in your University of Arkansas email address. For example, the username for jdoe@uark.edu is jdoe.

Login Issues?

If you are having trouble logging into any University of Arkansas online services, update your UARK password. When setting up UARK Gmail in older email applications, you might be required to use a special IMAP password for UARK Gmail.

Other University Accounts

Faculty and staff can request a departmental UARK account for access to email, the campus network and university online services using the Account Request form.

Affiliate accounts can be granted to those not employed by the university or enrolled as students who have a legitimate need to access university resources.

Leaving the University

When you leave the university, your university accounts will be deleted and you will no longer be able to access university services. Learn more about the process and how to preserve your data.
