The Student Technology Center, located on the third floor of the Arkansas Union, is a place for students to focus on the synergies that emerge from play and work, ideation and project development, and individual work and group collaboration. Tech Lounge
Students will find comfortable seating for group collaboration and laptop use throughout the Student Technology Center. Xpress, general use, and social media computing stations provide a great place for students to drop by to check email, Facebook, or post a YouTube video. Limited food and drink is allowed.
Digital Media Lab
The Digital Media Lab serves as a separate and dedicated space for editing audio and video, scanning, and developing multimedia and web projects. The lab, separated by curved glass from the Gaming Studio, offers soundproof recording rooms as well as team and individual workspaces. One-on-one multimedia training and support is available from the Tech Center staff.
Gaming Studio
Central to the Student Technology Center Gaming Studio are about a dozen high-end, single and multi-user computer stations configured for online gaming. In addition, social spaces featuring comfortable and informal seating, along with a software library of popular titles, are available for competitive gaming on the Wii, Xbox, and Playstation.
Team Room
The Student Technology Center also features a Team Room with interactive presentation and collaboration tools and flexible seating. The Team Room can be reserved.
Equipment Checkout
Laptops, cameras, and other digital equipment are available for checkout in the Tech Center. Find out more at Equipment Checkout.

Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to midnight
Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight
Sunday, noon to midnight
