IT Services provides all students, faculty, and staff with an array of online services that are accessed using an UARK account.Get Your New UARK Account

Manage Your UARK Password
Your UARK password expires every 120 days, at which time you are required to reset it using Password Manager. If your password is expired, but your account is not locked, you can reset your password with Password Manager.
Use Your UARK Account
The following services use your UARK username and password and are assigned automatically when you activate your UARK account:
- UARK Gmail (student email)
- Exchange (faculty and staff email)
- Wireless and wired connections
- Blackboard
- ISIS (students)
- General Access Computing Labs
- DropboxIT file sharing
- MyDocs file storage
- Microsoft Lync communication tool
- UARK Jabber instant messaging
- Personal websites and access to the Comp research server
- Site license requests
- webBASIS for Employees
These services are activated separately and use your UARK username and password:
Faculty and staff can submit a UARK Profile Photo. The photo is displayed in Outlook, Outlook Web App, SharePoint, and Microsoft Lync.
Other University Accounts
Faculty and staff may request additional secondary UARK or Cavern accounts using the Account Request.
Accounts that are activated separately and use unique usernames and/or passwords include:
- Mobile/IMAP password for UARK Gmail
- ISIS (administrative users)
- BASIS and webBASIS (administrative users)
- Cavern web server
- Data Warehouse
- emPower
Leaving the University
When you leave the university, your account(s) will be locked and purged after a certain amount of time determined by your status at the university. Eligible retirees and emeritus may maintain their UARK accounts. See Leaving the University of Arkansas.
