Wireless Network Specialist

The Wireless Network Specialist is the lead engineer for the university Wi-Fi networks and wireless environment. The core function of this position will be to ensure the resiliency, stability, and availability of the Wi-Fi networks to all campus stakeholders. Other responsibilities include Wi-Fi RF design, wireless controller support, oversight of Wi-Fi deployments in facilities, as well as support for end-user devices that use the Wi-Fi services. The Wireless Solutions Specialist will work with other engineers on the team to design high-performing functional networks in support of Wi-Fi services and functions.

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst for IT Services will coordinate with various end-users in distributed and centralized IT to create new and enhance existing technical capabilities that support the university. This person will conduct discovery sessions through the intake process and as projects are started. As projects start, the business analyst will work to interview, observe, and curate supporting documentation and requirements to create an accurate representation of work in progress and begin to strategize with the project management office.

Quality Assurance Analyst

The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is a team-oriented technologist with experience in quality assurance and testing. This is a key position which is highly interactive across the UARK Fayetteville campus. The successful candidate will leverage a strong understanding of the tools, data, and methods and deliver quality systems. This individual will be committed to incrementally and continuously improving the IT Services testing approaches and methods.

The QA Analyst will act as a validation and quality assurance professional across the different stages of the testing lifecycle. The individual will develop, design and deploy test scripts and cases of complex modules, help set up the test environment, coordinate a variety of testing activities, and contribute to the requirements documentation. This position will collaborate with a variety of technical and functional stakeholders and leadership across the campus to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet stakeholder’s business needs. This highly visible role will report directly to the Director of the PMO.
