During the 2019-2020 winter break, more than 87,000 student calendar and mailboxes were moved from Gmail to Office 365 Outlook. Student email addresses remained the same.
With a single email and calendar platform for all, students and faculty can take advantage of streamlined collaboration, including integrated file sharing and calendars. Office 365 also provides access to the campuswide address book, allowing you to look up any @uark.edu address from Outlook.
Sit Back and Relax While We Migrate Your Email
During the move, IT Services performed automatic migrations for students' mailboxes and calendars, including:
- Email messages
- Attachments
- Calendar items
- Folders
Heads up! Inbox rules and email forwarding settings were not be migrated. You will need to re-create these settings in Outlook.
