Use Password Manager to activate your UARK account, change your password(s) or reset a forgotten password.
- Must be 8 to 32 characters in length
- Must contain three out of four character types: lowercase (a-z), uppercase (A-Z), numbers
(0-9), and special characters
- Cannot contain spaces, tabs, or control characters
- Cannot be reused within the last six changes
- Cannot be any derivative of your username
Changing a UARK Password
University regulations require that all UARK passwords be changed every 120 days. You will receive reminder notices via email when it is time to change your password. If it reaches 120 days unchanged, your password will expire and you will no longer have access to services associated with your UARK account. Current and expired passwords can be changed at Password Manager.
Forgotten UARK Password
If you have forgotten your password, you can use your set a security question and answer in Password Manager. The answer is case-sensitive and a minimum of four characters.
If you have forgotten your password and have not set up a question and answer, go to one of the IT Help Desks, the Tech Spot labs in the Arkansas Union or Mullins Library, or the Student Technology Center during business hours with your University ID. Students can also go to the Office of the Registrar at 146 Silas Hunt Hall (479-575-5451).

If you are having trouble logging into any University of Arkansas online services, make sure you are using an updated UARK password that has not expired. When setting up UARK Gmail in older email applications, you might be required to use a special IMAP password for UARK Gmail.
