MDM: Install Company Portal for Android
Set up the Intune Company Portal app to enroll a university-owned Android smartphone or tablet into MDM.
- Download and install the Intune Company Portal app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the Company Portal app. Tap Sign In. Enter your UARK email address and your UARK password.
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
- On the What's next screen, tap Next. Tap Allow for each permission that pops up.
- Review the list of actions the Company Portal can perform. Tap Activate.
Note: If you are on a Samsung device, you will be required to agree to the Knox license activation. - Wait while the app finishes setting up your device.
- On the "Choose the best category for this device" screen, select your department
or appropriate group provided by your local IT administrator. Tap Done.
