Exchange Windows Setup

Set up your faculty or staff Exchange Online mailbox in Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016.

If you are setting up Outlook for the first time:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. The Startup Wizard will launch. Click Next or Connect.
  3. The radio button next to Yes is selected to indicate that you would like to configure an email account. Click Next.
    Note: In some versions of Outlook, this step is not necessary.
  4. Some on-campus workstations will automatically configure from this point. If yours does not:
    1. Enter your full name, your complete UARK email address and your UARK password.
    2. Ensure Email Account is selected. Confirm your password.
    3. Click Next. Click OK or Finish.

Additional Exchange Mailboxes

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Open the File tab and select Add Account. 
  3. Ensure Email Account is selected. Enter your name, your UARK email address, including "," and password. Confirm your password. Click Next.
  4. Outlook will automatically configure your Exchange mailbox settings. If prompted, enter the password for the added account. Click Finish. 
  5. Restart Outlook. Enter your UARK password when prompted. Click OK.
