Perceptive Content WebApp
Perceptive Content, the document management system hosted by IT Services, can be used by departments to securely store and retrieve all types of electronic documents. Learn more about the document management system.
The Perceptive Content WebApp at pcweb.uark.edu is available for light use to manually add scanned images or existing electronic documents to Perceptive Content. For heavier use, complex workflows and batch scanning, see Perceptive Content for Windows.
Compatible Web Browsers
Alert: The Perceptive Content WebApp requires Java (Oracle JRE version 1.7.0_51 or higher). Because Java is required, the app is not compatible with Chrome or Firefox.
Internet Explorer (version 8 or higher) and Java are required to access the Perceptive Content WebApp in Windows. To get started, log into pcweb.uark.edu with your UARK username and password. When prompted, update or install Java. Restart Internet Explorer.
Safari is required to access the Perceptive Content WebApp in MacOS. To get started, log into pcweb.uark.edu with your UARK username and password. When prompted, update or install Java. Click Trust.
Systems Requirements and Recommendations
The Perceptive Content WebApp requires a 2.0 GHz or greater processor. A dual core processor is recommended for increased performance. Other requirements include:
- Minimum disk space: 50 MB, excluding Java requirements
- Minimum screen resolution: 1024 x 768. Recommended screen resolution: 1280 x 1024 SVGA
- Recommended internet speed: 1.5 Mb/s upload
