Update: In Spring 2019, the Network Foundations project was completed for all 160 campus buildings! As a result, connecting to Wi-Fi is easier and more reliable than ever with increased speeds, capacity and security.

The need for wireless connectivity is greater than ever as more than 27,000 students—with an average of five wireless devices each—spend their days on the University of Arkansas campus.

To support the increased wireless demand, an upgrade to the campus network infrastructure was critical. The Achieve IT: Network Foundations project has modernized the University of Arkansas network by replacing and upgrading the wired and wireless network, providing greater reliability and mobility.
