IT Business Operations manages the requisitioning of technology products for the campus. The Tech Store & Service Center can assist you with Dell and Microsoft Surface standard configuration questions, pre-purchase recommendations, post-purchase support, estimated arrival dates for PO's, and warranty services for Dell, Microsoft and Apple.

Minimum Requirements for Institutional Purchasing

  • I5 or U5,  Apple M1, ARM processor
  • 16GB of RAM 
  • 256GB hard drive 
  • 3-year extended warranty 
  • Windows 11 or Mac OS 12.0 
  • AutoPilot, Apple School Manager or manual entry to the campus instance of InTune

Institutionally-Owned Computer Repair

  • Internal service deliveries (ISD) will be used to pay for any labor cost associated with warranty and non-warranty computer repair of institutionally owned computers.
  • To obtain warranty and non-warranty service repair on an institutionally owned computer:
    • Complete a TDX service request to Tech Store Computer Repairs.
    • Bring the computer to a Tech Store Service Center location and provide the TDX ticket number to the associate checking in the computer.
    • The assigned technician will run diagnostics and upload a quote in TDX for the labor to repair. If the requester approves the repair, they will get an ISD generated for the amount matching the quote total including tax.
