Digital Media Lab Workstations
The Digital Media Lab features dual-monitor Mac and Windows workstations with high-end video cards and processing power for intensive multimedia projects.
5-hour reservation
When you arrive, show your University ID at the Digital Media Lab desk, and a staff member will bring you to your reserved workstation.
Digital Media Lab workstations are set up with the following software:
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Microsoft Office
- Audacity
- Blender
- CamStudio
- Gimp
- Handbrake
- Inkscape
- Rhino
- R Studio
- Solidworks
- SPSS and JMP
Some specialized workstations have additional software.
Reserve a Workstation
- 3D Graphics Workstation (Unity Pro, Autodesk Suite, drawing tablet)
- Audio Workstation (Mac)
- Digital Project Workstation (base software)
- DVD/CD Duplication Tower
- Scanning Station (Large format available)
- Video Workstation (Unity Pro)
Saving Files
Bring a flash drive or external drive to back up your files, or upload them to OneDrive or other cloud storage.
You are responsible for deleting any sensitive files from the workstation.

Accessories
Request these items at the Digital Media Lab desk:
- Headphones and headphone adapters
- Drawing tablet pen for use with the drawing tablet at a 3D Graphics Workstation
- Drawing tablet and pen
- Media reader
Policies
No food and only drinks with lids are allowed at workstations.
Equipment and chairs cannot be moved or removed from the Digital Media Lab.
