Student Computer Recommendations

The following recommendations provide the minimum specifications for an ideal learning experience whether learning remotely or face to face. If your college is not listed, refer to the general university recommendations.

General University Recommendations

 

In addition to having a computer that meets the minimum recommendations, students learning remotely should have access to a reliable internet connection with a minimum of 10Mbps for upload and download. Take the internet speed test.

Note
: When using Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor, a wired Ethernet connection of at least 10 Mbps is recommended to avoid disruptions from Wi-Fi issues.
