About Multi-Factor Authentication
Students are required to use multi-factor authentication in spring 2021. Want to secure your account now? Opt in before your deadline.
Students without a smartphone or the ability to receive text messages should create a ticket to avoid being locked out of your UARK account.
How Tos
Set up your preferred authentication method: Authenticator app, SMS text message or phone call. If you experience issues on any device requiring your UARK login, make sure your Microsoft apps are updated.
How It Works
Multi-factor combines something you know (UARK email and password) with something you have (a trusted device, like a phone).
- Log into a UARK online service like Outlook, Box or UAConnect.
- Receive a six-digit code on your phone.
- Enter the code to verify access to your UARK account allowing you to log in.
At this time, secondary accounts are not required to register for multi-factor authentication.
ADA Accessibility
Assistance is available for users needing an accommodation due to a disability.
