Off-campus Network Access (VPN)
For faculty and staff who work from home, virtual private network (VPN) is essential for accessing on-campus remote desktops, servers or other resources.
VPN is like a tunnel that allows UARK users to access university resources securely, while prohibiting unauthorized incoming traffic.
The university requires VPN for off-campus users as a security measure to protect university servers and resources from malicious attacks. To use VPN on your computer or mobile device, install the Pulse Secure app for:

To connect to a university remote desktop or other resources from off campus, open Pulse Secure, select your UARK VPN or Library VPN connection, and log in with your UARK username and password. To access the University Libraries VPN, connect to vpn.uark.edu/library.
